Bio-FIX
BioOssnT Bio-FIX Glass Ionomer Luting Cement
BIO-FIX is a chemical curing, bioinert, glass ionomer fixing cement with high adhesion to dentin, enamel and non-precious alloys. Has low film thickness, good translucency and excellent biocompatibility.
Bio-Fix for Fixation, a glass ionomer cement, is designed for final fixation of crowns and bridges, and for fixation of metal inlays, onlays, pins, and orthodontic braces. Its optimal physical properties create a chemical bond with the tooth structure and the metal, ensuring high durability and maximum integrity in long-term restorations. Supplied as a two-part powder-liquid system for manual mixing.

Product Description
– Easy to prepare, handle, and employ in fixation
– No primer or adhesive required
– Sustained release of fluoride produces a cariostatic effect
– A thin layer of adhesive film facilitates easy fitting of the structure
– Causes secure adhesion of base and precious metals to the tooth structure
– Works with ceramic and zirconium structures
– Thermal expansion coefficient is identical to that of natural tooth structure, guaranteeing edge integrity
– High hydrophobicity repels saliva, facilitating a good marginal seal
– Tight marginal seal minimizes microleakage
– Fast setting reduces microleakage, preventing the development of hypersensitivity
– Strong chemical adhesion, coupled with high compressive and tensile strength, ensures durability and integrity of the restoration
– Good radiopacity facilitates postoperative diagnosis
– High biocompatibility
– Low shrinkage rate
– Final hardness ensures high structural fixation strength.
Advantages:
- Good adhesion
- Proper aesthetic characteristics
- Prolonged anti-caries effect, fluorid release
- Radio-opacity
